Collections are made between 6.30am and 6pm. Collection times can vary so please always have the bulky waste out ready for 6.30am on your scheduled collection day and please allow us up to 6pm to make the collection. We won’t be able to provide you with an exact collection time but with payment made in advance we just need the items to be left outside the property for it to be emptied.

We don’t currently do junk removals on the weekends. We spend Saturday’s cleaning and maintaining all the vehicles. If we look after the vehicles, our vehicles will take care of you and provide that dependable service that you are looking for.

We are fully licensed and insured. If you wish to see any of our legal documentation then please email binfo@busybins.co.uk and we will be happy to provide copies of this. Our waste carriers licence number is CB/DU222271 for any online checks you wish to carry out.

We take most types of non-hazardous bulky waste.

Common Items include:

Furniture: Beds, Mattresses, Sofa’s, Tables, Wardrobes etc

Office Furniture: Filing Cabinets, Desks, Chairs etc

Appliances: Ovens, Washing Machines, Small Electrical Items, Fridges etc

Bathroom Fixtures: Bath, Shower, Sink, Toilet etc

Exercise Equipment: Rowing Machine, Treadmill, Exercise Bikes etc

Our full list of items is listed on our JUNK REMOVAL BOOKING PAGE with prices displayed. If the item isn’t listed then we don’t take it.

We don’t move large piles of random/ assorted rubbish that would need to be quoted on just specific bulky items.

Payment can be made 24/7 online at www.busybins.co.uk or over the phone on 0161 766 3330 (Monday-Friday 9.30-3.30pm). Payment is made by card. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express. We don’t take cash payments.

All our pricing is transparently displayed on the website for the different services that we offer. Just click on the Book Now button for each option online & you will see the pricing displayed there before there is any requirement to pay or check out.

We allow up to 20 minutes loading time for each booked job. If we believe that it will take longer than this then the collection crew or customer service team will notify you and additional charges may be applicable.

No we don’t have a minimum order amount for our bulky waste collections.

There’s no limit on the amount of waste we collect. However it may be best to give us a call on 0161 766 3330 if you think you have more than a full van load though to ensure that we can take care of it.

If the collection ends up being a little different than what you booked, then the collection crew or customer service team will let you know before they start and charge or credit the difference.

No, we don’t come into the property, please place your bulky items outside your property but within your property boundary.

We can but the waste needs to be left outside at ground floor level ready for our helpful staff to remove for you.

As payment has already been made you don’t need to be at home for the bulky waste collection to be made. Please make sure that you leave your items out for collections in an easily accessible location outside your home but within your property boundary either the night before or the morning of your collection date ready for 6.30am. Please note that actual collection times do vary so always have the waste presented for 6.30am.

Yes we will. Once you’ve booked in and left the waste out ready for collection your work is done. Our team will do the heavy lifting & put it onto the van.

Can you move my things from one location to another?

We are not a Man & Van Service & we are unable to move your stuff from one location to another but we will take your junk away and dispose of it.

We are a fully licensed waste carrier with the Environment Agency (Registration Number CB/DU222271) We collect your waste in one of our specialised refuse collection vehicles, take it to a waste transfer station where it is processed. If the bulky items can be repaired or reused, then we will make every effort to do so.

There will be separate collections for the different services we offer. We will let you know each collection date for each service you book via email and our specialised vehicles will call out to collect the waste for you.

Yes you can but please call us on 0161 766 3330 (Monday-Friday 9.30-3.30pm) so we can make a manual note otherwise the system will book you in for the next available day that we are in the area as confirmed by our online postcode checker.

We’re not perfect but we do care about providing a dependable service so if we have made an error we will call back as soon as we can to rectify it. This is usually the next working day after notification of the error.

There is no refund applicable as the collection would still have been booked and a team scheduled to your address to make the collection.

You can cancel an order with us outside of the statutory cancellation period. We will charge a £2.50 administration fee for the time and cost incurred by us for the booking. If you wish to re-arrange the collection date, then we can arrange that for you instead. The cancellation notice for One Off Bin Collections must be received no less than 24 hours prior to the date of the ordered service.
